A re-imagining of Franz Schubert's genius in a new, progressive arrangement.

Six-String Schubert is arranged for electric bass and three seven string guitars, replicating the original score for cello, viola, and two violins. Although some articulations have been altered to suit the idiom of the electric guitar, no additional notes have been added, and none have been omitted in order to stay as faithful to Schubert's original score as possible.

Tim Herscovitch Los Angeles, California

Tim Herscovitch is a music professor and composer from Los Angeles with nearly two decades of experience composing, performing, and studying music.

Tim finished his master's degree in music education at USC in 2013, after which he worked at KUSC as a musicologist.

He is currently a faculty member teaching music theory at LA Valley College.
