"Thank You Notes" consists of 13 pieces of music written, recorded, and arranged by Tim Herscovitch. Each musical "sketch" recalls imagery, evokes a sense of reminiscence, and ultimately lands on gratitude for 14 various people, places, or events in the composer's life.

Some of the musical ideas contained within these sketches were written as far back as 2005. The album was recorded over 5 months in extreme DIY fashion and released on July 31, 2011.

All instruments (guitars, bass, piano, drums, percussion, sequencing) performed by Tim Herscovitch.

Tim Herscovitch Los Angeles, California

Tim Herscovitch is a music professor and composer from Los Angeles with nearly two decades of experience composing, performing, and studying music.

Tim finished his master's degree in music education at USC in 2013, after which he worked at KUSC as a musicologist.

He is currently a faculty member teaching music theory at LA Valley College.
